the weather was a bit cold in the hide.Had a great view of a Reed bunting but unfortunately was gone in a flash so did not manage to get a photo but did get a nice few shots of a Snipe probing for food in the mud see below.
I have seen this before but was just to far away to get a good photo.Picture was taken with my Canon 400d with a Sigma 70-400 lens.
I just wish it would oblige a moved just a bit closer.
Nice to see your Snipe image Richard,they always seem to skulk behind reeds for me....you did well to capture it in the open.
